Jay Soto
Jay and his music has found a way into the hearts of many with his smooth, but fiery,
guitar licks and passion of the fretboard. Best known as a guitarist, he’s also a singer,
songwriter, producer, pianist, music instructor and church music director. He’s
performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Jeff Lorber,
Jeffrey Osborne, Paul Brown, Craig Chaquico, Everette Harp, Eric Darius, Gregg Karukas,
Candy Dulfer, Euge Groove, Acoustic Alchemy, Boney James, Michael Lington and the list
goes on…

 

Ratio
Ratio, the band, is composed of six members that are both young and some who have been performing in Phoenix for over 20 years. They produce music richly-flavored with both seasoned and fresh talent. Ratio has been acknowledged as “Best Jazz Band in Phoenix” from the New Times and “Best Blues Band” by the Arizona Republic.
As the name “Ratio” indicates, the band performs a balanced repertoire of music for their audiences. Their unique “Phoenix style” includes jazz, blues, R&B, Latin, pop, and a little bit of classical.

 

 Amy Schugar
Before working with Michael Schenker and getting Japanese Record Deal, Amy Schugar had been developing her skills as a songwriter, arranger, singer and guitarist. Amy seemed to come from a musical background from the start. Her God Mother is the very famous Amalia Mendoza and her Mother was a famous Bullfighter in the 50’s and singer named Carla Lee. Carla Lee is also featured in a book called “Women and the Bullring” by Murial Feiner.Amy has received many endorsement deals with great companies like Bestelectronics GuitarCable.com, Floyd Rose Tremolo Systems, D’Addario Strings, Crate Amps, Seymour Duncan, Fernandez Sustainer’s and Robert Keeley Electronics , Daisy Rock Guitars and is featured in countless music trade magazines and internet webzines. Amy got great Interviews in GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE and BURRNS MAGAZINE of Japan. Amy continues to write songs consistent with her bluesy melodic Rock and Roll style. Her band is a rare Female Fronted Rock Power Trio. Phoenix Blues Society
The Phoenix Blues Society, an all-volunteer organization, supports local and
national music, Blues culture and heritage, arts education, and more. Highlights of
the Blues Society’s annual calendar include the Blues Blast festival, held in
February and the Arizona Blues Showdown (statewide preliminaries for The Blues
Foundation’s international competition in Memphis). Monthly membership
meetings are held at area clubs, followed by live music.
